For the last 39 years Hal has been involved in aviation maintenance. Prior to starting SAS (2003) Hal was the Director of Aircraft Maintenance for the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. out of Chicago, IL. SAS services have adapted over the years to keep pace with the ever-changing industry to support their customers and their aircraft. From our home office to customized on-site support Hal specializes in Pre-Purchase Inspections, project management, log book review, new aircraft completions & refurbishments, major inspections, technical appraisals, green aircraft, paint, interior & exterior inspections, acceptance and final delivery.

Gesse has over 29 years in corporate aviation and avionics experience, ranging from Legacy Analog systems to present day cabin WIFI, Ku/Ka band Internet, Media Distribution and Next Gen Digital Navigation systems. Specializing in design, engineering, installation, integration, and certification. Prior to joining SAS Gesse has held positions as Director of Avionics Engineering and Director of New Product Development at Innotech-Execaire Aviation Montreal.

GESSE’S CONTRIBUTIONS TO AVIONICS:

  • Developed the “Skyberry” STC for the Bombardier Challenger, which enabled texting via the Iridium system.
  • Designed the cabin air purification system “ICAIR” STC for the Global Express.
  • Accomplished the design and certification of the first Ku band Internet system STC for the Global Express, named the “I-KU”
  • Involved in the design and certification of the first I-KU band Internet & Tailwind 500 SAT TV for the Global Express.
  • Conducted research and development of a virtual sunroof for
    the Global Express.
  • Participated in the development of an electrical cabin table
    for the Global Express.
  • Involved in the development for Honeywell Jetwave Ka band
    STC and Ka band Radome requirements.
